Monday 29th June 2026 at Wimbledon Leisure Centre will be the last Monday night session for seniors at 20:00–21:00. From Monday 6th July Seniors will swim in the 19:00–20:00 session.

The Monday session at Wimbledon Leisure Centre for Juniors at 19:00–20:00 and Sunday session at Morden Leisure Centre for all swimmers at 17:00–18:00 remain unchanged.

There will be no swimming sessions on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th May 2026 due to the bank holiday. Normal sessions resume on Sunday 31st May and Monday 1st of June.

There will be no swimming sessions on Sunday the 3rd and Monday the 4th of May, due to the Bank Holiday.

Merton Swordfish Swimming Club would like to invite your child to participate in a Lollipop Gala on Monday 9th February 2026 at Wimbledon Leisure Centre, Latimer Road, SW19 1EW.

Approximate agenda

Time: prompt start 7:00pm
Warm up: 7:00pm – 7:15pm
Diving: 7:15pm – 7:25pm
Age races: 7:30pm – 8:15pm
Relay: 8:15pm – 8:25pm
Warm down: 8:25pm – 8:30pm

Open swim for senior swimmers until 9:00pm

Each swimmer will need x2 towels, club costume, hat, goggles, bottle of water and a t-shirt to wear on the poolside whilst waiting for their races. Please eat at least 2 hours before the gala, lollipops for every race and djust for taking part.

During this event there will also be a Valentine cash raffle

Monday 1st December 2025 is our sponsored swimming night, to raise funds for the club. Please make sure you have picked up a sponsorship form from the coaches, and do your best to collect as many sponsors as you can.
